Import from OANDA

This guide covers OANDA accounts on MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5. Platform availability depends on your region and account. Check your OANDA account dashboard before exporting. OANDA lists MT5 on its UK platform page.

These steps cover MetaTrader exports, not reports from OANDA's native platform.

Export from MetaTrader 4

  1. Sign in to the MT4 desktop app with the login and server assigned to your OANDA MT4 account.
  2. Open Terminal → Account History.
  3. Right-click and select the date range you want to import.
  4. Right-click again and select Save as Detailed Report.
  5. Save the HTML statement unchanged.

Export from MetaTrader 5

  1. Sign in to the MT5 desktop app with the login and server assigned to your OANDA MT5 account.
  2. Open Toolbox → History.
  3. Select the date range you want to import.
  4. Right-click and select Report → HTML.
  5. Save the HTML report unchanged. Forexizer does not read the Excel Open XML report option.

Export each account separately and keep the original file. Do not convert HTML reports to CSV in spreadsheet software.

Import into Forexizer

  1. Open Accounts → Add account and choose the matching platform, MT4 or MT5. Enter the account's base currency and starting balance. For an existing account, open its menu and select Import CSV.
  2. Upload the HTML statement or report. The Import CSV control also accepts supported MetaTrader HTML files.
  3. Confirm the broker's timestamp timezone by comparing a known trade with the preview.
  4. Review the trade counts, date range, commission, swap, net P&L, duplicates, and invalid rows.
  5. Import only when the preview matches the account you exported.

File imports need no account password. Do not send passwords or API keys to support.

Check the result

Compare the closed-trade count, dates, commission, swap, and net P&L with MetaTrader. Open positions are skipped. Check deposits and withdrawals separately from trading results.

If the totals differ, check your account, export range, timezone, skipped rows, and duplicates. Keep the original file until the result is correct. See Report an import problem or Undo a CSV import.
