Getting started

Getting started

Forexizer opens with an empty workspace. Start with an account, record a trade, then use Plan and Review to build a repeatable routine.

1. Add an account

Open Accounts, select Add account, then enter the account name, type, base currency, starting balance, and default risk per trade.

You can add trades manually or import a CSV. Keep separate broker accounts separate so balances, risk, and reports stay meaningful.

2. Record a trade

Open Log and select Add Trade, or press n. Choose the account, instrument, direction, status, entry, and size. Add the original stop loss when you know it. Forexizer needs original risk to calculate a measured R-multiple.

3. Plan a trading day

Open Plan and choose a date. Add a forecast for each instrument you intend to trade. Record the higher-timeframe view, lower-timeframe setup, screenshots, checklist, and risk notes.

Use Daily Goals for tasks that belong to one date. Use Habits for goals that repeat each week.

4. Review closed trades

Open Review, choose a week, month, quarter, or year, and work through each closed trade. Open the trade to add notes, screenshots, mistakes, and a rating. Mark every trade reviewed, write one rule for the next period, then complete the review.

5. Read performance

Use Dashboard for a configurable overview and Reports for a fixed, printable analysis. Account and date filters affect the figures shown. When selected accounts use different currencies, Forexizer labels totals as mixed.

Move around quickly
