Shortcuts do not fire while you type in an input or editor.

Press the second key of a g shortcut within about one second. Hold ⌘ or Ctrl to reveal hints on supported header controls.

Command palette

The palette reaches every page, including Daily Logs, Backtesting, Reports, Accounts, and Coaching. It also contains add actions, privacy modes, theme switching, and the shortcut list.
