Undo a CSV import
Use Undo when a CSV import added the wrong trades and you want to import a corrected file. Keep the original CSV until you have checked the result.
Before you undo
Open Accounts → Import history and find the file. Check its account, date, and Trades count. Undo deletes the trades this import added, including any edits you later made to those trades. It does not reverse changes to manual trades that were merged during import.
If you changed the starting balance during import, Undo does not restore its previous value. Check the account's starting balance separately. For a wrong balance caused by missing trades or costs, report the CSV problem before removing the import.
Remove the imported trades
- Select Undo beside the import. The button appears when that import added trades and has not already been undone.
- Check the number in the confirmation button, then select Delete trades.
- Check the account balance and trade list. Forexizer recalculates the balance from the remaining trades and current starting balance. The history entry stays marked undone.
You can import the corrected CSV afterward. If the file still imports incorrectly, send it through Report issue so support can inspect it.
