How position size is calculated
Lots = (balance × risk %) ÷ (stop distance × value of a one-unit move per lot)
For forex the stop is in pips, and a pip’s value depends on the pair and your account currency. For gold, oil, indices and crypto the stop is the distance between entry and stop price, multiplied by your broker’s contract size.
Sizing across several accounts?
The Forexizer Calculator app saves each account’s balance, currency, risk and contract sizes, then sizes one trade for every account at once. No retyping, no looking up specs.
